The Hercules series, produced in the 1980s, includes pipes available in three finishes: smooth, rusticated, and matte. The specific pipe we are discussing features a matte finish, achieved through special ventilation techniques and the application of boiled linseed oil. This process enhances the grain of the wood while maintaining a natural appearance. The series consists exclusively of larger models, each with a 3mm bore and an ebonite mouthpiece.
